Meet Rachel Taylor

Rachel Taylor is a compassionate Psychologist and Family Therapist who has a demonstrated history of working in the mental health care industry. She is an Ahpra Board Approved Supervisor, and is a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician who is skilled in the prevention, assessment and treatment of psychological disorders.

Rachel has extensive experience in providing individual and family therapy. She is experienced in working with people across cultures and of all ages, and is most passionate about working with clients who experience complex grief and trauma, supporting parents to tune in to their children and adolescents, and to assist them to navigate their unique journeys through the different developmental and family life cycle stages. Rachel also specialises in working with school refusal.

Rachel uses a range of evidence-based and trauma informed therapies in her approach, including Emotion Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Family Therapy.

Rachel is also an accredited Tuning into Teens and Beyond the Violence program facilitator in addition to being a Youth Mental Health First Aid instructor.
