Meet Rachel Taylor
Rachel Taylor is a compassionate Psychologist who has a demonstrated history of working in the mental health care industry. She is a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician, has post graduate qualifications in Family Therapy, and is skilled in the prevention, assessment and intervention of psychological disorders.
Rachel has extensive experience in providing individual and family therapy. She is experienced in working with people across cultures and of all ages, and is most passionate about working with clients who experience complex trauma, and in helping parents to tune in to their children and adolescents, and to support them to navigate their unique journeys through the different developmental and family life cycle stages. Rachel also specialises in working with school refusal.
Rachel uses a range of evidence-based therapies in her approach, including Emotion Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Family Therapy.
Rachel is also an accredited Tuning into Teens and Beyond the Violence program facilitator in addition to being a Youth Mental Health First Aid instructor.
